Seminar on implementation of multilingualism in modern education

A practice-oriented seminar on the topic “Implementation of Multilingualism in the System of Modern Education Using Active Teaching Methods to Achieve Educational Goals” was held on April 28, 2023 at the “Secondary School No. 6” of the Education Department in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan region. The seminar was attended by a 1st-year graduate student of the program “Russian Language and Literature” Beisembinova K.R. and teacher-practitioner of the Kazakh-American Free University Abylgazinova A.B.

The purpose of the seminar: generalization and presentation of the experience of working on the implementation of multilingualism in the lessons of the Russian language and literature using active teaching methods to achieve educational goals.

At the beginning of the seminar, the director of school No. 6 Askarova A.A. made a welcoming speech. As part of the event, the educational department of the school prepared a mini-concert “Young Talents” to create a favorable environment. Methodist of the city Education Department Kruglova E.P. updated the seminar’s theme, denoting the importance of knowledge of languages in the modern world. The practical part of the seminar was opened by the Deputy Director for academic work Orazbaeva A.M., presenting the school’s work according to the plan of intra-school control.

A particularly important part of the seminar was a panoramic lesson and a master class organized by the teacher of the Russian language and literature Kabdyrakova A.B.

In the modern world, the use of several languages in education, work, and everyday life is becoming increasingly relevant. Multilingualism is not only a way to enrich culture and broaden one’s horizons, but also a necessary tool for successful professional activity in an international context. All participants of the seminar noted its high practical significance and usefulness for further professional activities. They also expressed their readiness to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in their practice and to introduce multilingual methods into the modern education system.
